For this project, we collaborated with Selby and Sons Construction to construct a piled foundation on the site of the former pub, The Anchor & Hope. Our task was to create a foundation capable of supporting a proposed multi-use building that includes office space and an upper-level apartment.

To meet the structural demands, we installed a 250mm reinforced concrete slab designed to handle the building’s high loads. Additionally, 225mm thick Cellcore was applied to the soffit of the slab to deal with the effects of the clay soils on-site.

We are pleased to report the project was completed on time and within budget, delivering a strong and reliable foundation for the client’s vision.
